How it works

When you book a CheckChecked landlord property service for the first time you will be asked to complete a quick questionnaire so that our engineer will know what to expect when they attend.

When our engineer arrives at your rental property they will introduce themselves to the tenant and provide identification.

They will then ask the tenant if there are any issues that need to be reported to the landlord or agent. 

After explaining the process to the tenant our engineer will complete the inspection and email the report including Gas Safety Certificate to the agent.

Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm batteries are changed as part of the service if necessary. The age and condition of the alarms is recorded and they are replaced as required.

Finally our engineer will complete a comprehensive video inspection inventory of the property with time and date certification noting any concerns, damage or maintenance issues. This video is uploaded to our portal and emailed to the agent.

We ask the tenant for a verification signature and leave them knowing that their property has been properly inspected and tested to comply with current letting legislation.

All completed in one visit in about 2 hours.
